A new machine arrived at M+M Made HQ — a Bodor laser — and with it, an entirely new world of possibility.

There's something about the first cut. That moment when the laser traces your design for the very first time and it becomes real. It's hard to put into words, but anyone who's been there knows exactly what I mean.

Designing and creating is one of the great ways to get completely lost in a skill. Time disappears. Problems become puzzles. And every cut teaches you something new.

The Scope is Endless

One of the things I love most about laser and engraving work is how vast the possibilities are. From personalised gifts and homewares to signage, awards, architectural details, and one-of-a-kind pieces — the applications are genuinely never-ending.

Whether it's a custom chopping board with a family name etched into the grain, an acrylic piece that catches the light just right, or something entirely new that hasn't been dreamed up yet — the laser opens doors.

What's Next for M+M Made

With the Bodor now part of the studio, we're exploring new designs, new materials, and new ideas. Some will make it into the shop. Others will be happy experiments along the way.
